Ayya Upekkha

Born in Sri Lanka, Venerable Upekkhā grew up and lived in different parts of the world before settling in Australia.

She received full Bhikkhunī ordination at Dhammasara Nuns Monastery in 2005, where she lived and practised for many years in the Theravāda forest tradition.

She later spent an extended period in the UK, supporting Venerable Candā, at Anukampa Bhikkhuni Project. She now resides at Santi Forest Monastery in New South Wales, with Ayya Kārunikā.
