Membership DDBF
We are a young society and need your support to grow. Your support will help us offer more retreats each year at the lowest possible cost, build a vibrant community, make teachings freely accessible, and, in the longer term, establish places where the early Buddhist practice can flourish for both monastics and laypeople.
The benefits of membership.
Membership of DDBF gives you priority access to retreats. Members are offered a place on retreats two weeks before non-members. Membership gives you a share in the association and a voice in its affairs. As a member, you have voting rights at the annual general meeting and the opportunity to stand for election to the board. As all the work of the association is carried out by volunteers, your membership directly helps strengthen our work and the resources available to fulfil our purpose: to share the Buddha’s teachings and foster inclusivity, joy and peace.
Membership and fees.
Membership costs DKK 450 per year and is open to everyone over the age of 18. You do not need to identify as a Buddhist to become a member, as long as you wish to support the association’s purpose and values.

Larger donations and bequests are also gratefully received. If you would like to make a donation for a specific purpose, or if you would like to leave part of your estate to the association in your will, please contact us at buddhistforening@gmail.com.
